Jean-Pierre Farandou, President and Group CEO

Born in 1957, Jean-Pierre Farandou was educated at the Ecole des Mines de Paris. With an extensive career in public transportation and senior general management, Mr. Farandou has developed a diverse set of skills and experience with operational, commercial and strategic responsibilities.

Previously, Mr. Farandou was Managing Director at Thalys International (1993), Regional Manager at SNCF Rhone-Alpes (2002) and Managing Director of Keolis Lyons (2005). Mr. Farandou became General Manager of SNCF’s main division, SNCF Proximites in 2006. He was also a director of the Keolis board.

Prior to his appointment as President and Group CEO of Keolis on 7 August 2012, Mr. Farandou was a member of the SNCF Executive Committee and Deputy General Manager at the SNCF corporate level in charge of organisation and change management.
