Keolis is a partner to locally established transport operators who wish to launch partnerships on new projects or in view of invitations to tender. In a number of its world operations, Keolis has created consortia or joint ventures, or invested in local transport operators. The unique combination of specialist transport expertise together with local market knowledge gives the overall operator a key advantage to understanding the market and developing an effective, efficient and viable transport proposal.
SNCF
The Société Nationale des Chemins de fer Français (SNCF - French national railway company) is one of the France's largest public companies, specialised in rail transport. Its legal form is an "établissement public à caractère industriel et commercial (EPIC)" (public undertaking specialising in industry and commerce) which employs 160,000 people. The group holds 56.7% of Keolis following the transfer of EFFIA in February 2010. Group turnover for 2009 is €24.9M.
Go-Ahead Group
Go-Ahead Group is one of the UK's leading public transport groups with revenues of over £2.3 billion and over 27,000 employees. Go-Ahead operates buses and trains (via Govia, joint venture with Keolis) and also provides airport services. The group is one of the 250 biggest companies on the London stock exchange.
FirstGroup
FirstGroup is the world's leading transport operator with revenues of over 7 billion euros and 136,000 employees. Present in the United Kingdom and North America, its head office is in Aberdeen, in Scotland. The group is listed on the London stock exchange and on the FTSE 250 index.

It employs 24,000 people and for 2008 posted turnover of 3.2 billion euros. Downer EDI Rail is the leading supplier of rolling stock and maintenance activities in Australia.
Fjord1
Fjord1 is one of the leading land and sea transport operators in Norway. With 7 subsidiaries, 500 buses and lorries and 83 boats and ferries, Fjord1 transports over 30 million passengers each year. Fjord 1 employs more than 2300 people and its turnover in 2008 was approximately 350M€.
NS Reizigers
NS Reizigers is the main railway company in the Netherlands in the public transport sector. Born of the former public administration of Dutch railways, whose name it has kept, it provides around 80% of the country's passenger rail traffic. It employs over 26,000 people and generates turnover of €4.2 bn.
SNC Lavalin
SNC-Lavalin is one of the leading engineering and construction groups in the world and a major player in the ownership of infrastructure and in the provision of operations and maintenance services. Its head office is based in Montreal. Its 2008 turnover was CA$7.1M (€5 M) and it employs 21,000 people worldwide.
