Keolis has been awarded a new contract by Movia to operate and maintain 47 buses, of which 32 are fully electric, in the greater Copenhagen area With this contract, Keolis becomes one of the largest zero-emission operators in Denmark The contract reinforces Keolis’ presence in Denmark, where it operates in nine cities, and further illustrates Keolis’ commitment to supporting public transport authorities (PTAs) in the transition to greener energies

Keolis joint venture retains Southeastern, one of the busiest rail networks in the UK

On 30 March 2020, the Department for Transport (DfT) awarded Govia, the joint venture (JV) between Keolis and Go-Ahead Group, an extension to its current contract to operate the Southeastern railway network, in the London area, up to 31st March 2022. The UK’s first high speed rail network, Southeastern is also one of the busiest rail networks in the UK, carrying over 180 million passengers per year. This extended contract will enable Keolis and its partner to boost capacity and punctuality of the network and, in the short term, to focus on providing services for key workers during the Covid-19.

The fossil-free, biodiesel double-deck buses will provide a service to 1.3 million passengers every year. Keolis awarded its largest ever electric bus fleet contract in the Netherlands
On 24 September 2019, the Provinces of Overijssel, Flevoland and Gelderland in the Netherlands entrusted Keolis with the operation and maintenance of 300 electric buses. This will be Keolis’ largest e-bus fleet operated under a single contract. The new electric buses will serve 53 stations in the east and central areas of the Netherlands and will carry 17 million passengers per year in a clean, quiet and reliable mode of transport.
