04-03-2018 On 31 March 2018, a new fully automated metro line was added to the Shanghai metro network. Shanghai Keolis, a joint venture between the Shanghai Shentong Metro Group Co. Ltd. (51%) and Keolis Group (49%), started operating the Pujiang metro line, the first fully automated metro line in Shanghai. The line comprises 6.7km of double track and six elevated stations. The seven-year operations and maintenance contract was awarded to Shanghai Keolis two years ago.
Keolis’ joint-venture with RATP Dev and a Qatari group has been awarded the operations and maintenance contract of Qatar’s future public transport rail network, consisting of three automated metro lines and four tram lines. The win confirms the Group’s leading role in the global mass transit market for major metropolitan areas.

On 29 November, 2017, Keolis has begun its first passenger services on an initial 30km section of a new automated metro network in Hyderabad, India.
