Keolis’ latest innovations on show at ITS

From 17 to 21 September, Keolis will be welcoming visitors on its stand for the 2018 edition of the ITS World Congress, to take place in Copenhagen, Denmark. A pioneer in shared mobility solutions, Keolis will use ITS to showcase its latest innovations for public transport.

The Autonom Cab gets its bearings in Copenhagen

The ITS World Congress 2018 will be an opportunity for Keolis to present its 100% electric and autonomous Autonom Cab. Launched in November 2017, Autonom Cab is the one of the first autonomous cabs on the market. Designed without a cockpit, steering wheel or pedals, this vehicle provides passengers with a new type of shared mobility that is autonomous, connected and personalised.

Keolis’ approach to connected, autonomous, shared and electric mobility, and our use of alternative energy will be displayed through a range of different demonstrations on our stand:

  • Open Payment: rolled out for the first time in France on the tram network in Dijon, this solution transforms your bank card into your transport ticket. More than 20,000 passengers have already used this innovative solution since March 2018.
  • Plan Book Ticket: with its subsidiary Kisio, the Group has developed a connected mobility service offer and multi-device solution (web, mobile, tablet) which groups together in the same app, the three essential steps in a passenger’s everyday journey: finding the right itinerary (Plan), buying their transport ticket (Book) and validating it (Ticket).
  • Visitors to the Keolis stand will also be able to discover the 100% electric and connected autonomous shuttle as it runs in the La Défense business district in Paris, through a virtual reality simulation. The virtual reality demonstration will also feature a simulation of the cable car in Brest, France’s first cable car service for urban transport.
