Organised by the Futura Mobility think-tank, “10 challenges for 10 years” took place in November 2019 in Paris. Six Keolis colleagues from various French subsidiaries joined multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions addressing climate change.
For three days, the Futura Mobility think tank, composed of various mobility actors (SNCF, Alstom, Bouygues…), invited a hundred participants from member firms and engineering schools to form teams. Among those, Keolis’ colleagues involved were asked to ponder on various topics:
- Mobility against isolation
- Learning by travelling
- Last mile solutions
- Collaborate beyond boundaries
With their respective teams, they were also trained on how to deliver innovation projects with interventions from experts and coaches.
A project presented by Laurent Tournier’s (Keolis Tours) team received the Grand Jury’s prize for their idea of introducing outreach services (medical care, local or coffee shops…) in rural areas, hence bringing new life to those specific territories.
The Mobility Prize went to project “Treep” involving Keolis Tours’ Adeline Burette. The team designed a platform for itinerary searches featuring all modes of transport and customisable to the users’ needs and priorities including rapidity, price, environmental footprint. It also featured a rewards system with discount on transport solutions each time users opt for sustainable modes.
