A fluid, secure payment solution
With open payment, no more need to buy your ticket before you travel! Thanks to this innovative solution, your contactless bank card can be read like a travel ticket, making daily transport easier for passengers, who can avoid queuing up at the ticket machines.
All passengers need to do is validate their journey by holding their contactless bank card up against the specially provided validation terminal. They can then continue their journey with complete peace of mind, without having to provide proof on paper during the check.

A first in France: open payment in Dijon
To meet growing demand for more intelligent, accessible and connected transport, Keolis is enhancing customer experience with the open payment solution. To deploy the solution, the Group has signed a partnership agreement with Worldline, the European leader in e-payment services.
Open Payment was launched in Dijon in March 2018. For the first time in France, the transport network of a big French city equipped its trams with contactless validation terminals, allowing passengers to pay for their journeys directly on board using their contactless bank cards. This innovation, available on the entirety of Dijon’s two tram lines, will be extended to the city’s bus lines at a later date. Three months after its launch, the new payment method has been adopted by passengers (tourists, occasional visitors or regular passengers who have forgotten their tickets) in Dijon: More than 170,000 routes have been “contactlessly” validated!
