EFFIA strengthens its presence in Belgium with the acquisition of Parkeren Roeselare

10-16-2017. EFFIA, a subsidiary of the Keolis Group dedicated to parking, has announced the acquisition of the Flemish company Parkeren Roeselare, located in Roeselare in the Flanders region in Belgium.

With a concession contract for the operation of three car parks and roadside parking representing nearly 7,000 parking spaces in Roeselare, Parkeren Roeselare was until now owned by the Belgian groups AA Van Laere and OPC.

In April 2017, EFFIA completed the first stage of its development in Benelux with the acquisition of Alfa Park. The acquisition of this Belgian company, which operates some fifteen on- and off-road facilities totalling more than 8,000 parking spaces in the regions of Flanders and Wallonia, was EFFIA's first expansion outside France.

This new acquisition represents an additional step in the internationalisation of EFFIA, and confirms its ambitions for development in Belgium and abroad. In Belgium, the Keolis Group subsidiary now manages more than 15,000 parking spaces in 16 cities across Wallonia, Flanders and the Brussels-Capital region.
