In 2018, Keolis reached the 'GC advanced' level, the highest ranking of the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest social responsibility initiative with over 13,000 participants in 170 countries.

The Global Compact provides a forum for companies, organisations, UN agencies, the world of work and civil society to discuss and work on ten universally recognised principles for building more stable and inclusive societies, structured across four themes: Human Rights, Environment, International Labour Standards and Anti-corruption.

Keolis has been a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact since 2004 and publishes its progress annually. The Group takes part in workshops and discussions on issues that are in line with our social responsibility strategy's principles and commitments.

In 2018, Keolis chose to strengthen its commitment and meet the 21 criteria established at the ‘GC advanced’ level, the highest level of differentiation of the initiative. Our Extra-Financial Performance Statement, appended to the financial report of Keolis SA 2018, contains our responses to the 21 criteria expected by the United Nations.

As a member of the GC Advanced Club, Keolis joins companies of various sizes and industries, achieving recognition for their advanced social responsibility commitments. The club offers a forum for dialogue, reflection and collective learning.

In parallel, Keolis also becomes a partner of the Global Compact France, which is the official local relay in France and one of the most active networks in the world.
