A mobility offer focused on greater fluidity and simplicity

Destined to serve Agen and 31 other municipalities of the conurbation, with a total of 96,000 inhabitants, the Tempo network is currently made up of nine city lines, seven on demand transport routes, one service for passengers with reduced mobility, 45 school lines, two free downtown shuttles, a carsharing service, an electrically assisted bike rental service and two electrically assisted bike terminals.
From 1 October 2021, the network will benefit from two major changes to offer a more sustainable, fluid and simpler mobility experience to passengers:

• The mobile app Tempo Agen, which already enables passengers to purchase and validate their tickets (m-ticket and text ticket), will present real-time network information (in particular vehicle arrival times) and will give an overview of the entire range of available mobility services in the region (buses, coaches, bicycles and TER regional trains).

• The creation of additional bicycle terminals with the aim of a four-fold increase in the number of terminals by the end of the contract. The network currently has two bike-sharing terminals, each with 10 electrically assisted bicycles (EABs). Keolis will expand this offer by introducing two new terminals per year, so that the conurbation will have eight terminals and 80 bicycles by 2024.

Over the course of this contract, Keolis will also assist the conurbation of Agen in conducting a survey of passengers’ mobility needs to define the characteristics of the future transport network, which should be launched in 2024.
