Région Sud has awarded Keolis public service delegation contracts to operate and maintain two sections of its regional public transport network covering the Alpes-Maritimes coastline and the Grasse inland area in southeast France. The two sections feature a fleet of 120 buses and coaches and include 17 lines: three high-frequency lines, two airport services, and 12 regular services.
Today Keolis began operating and maintaining Dubai’s driverless metro network and operating the emirate’s tram network under a 15-year contract awarded by the Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) on 31 January 2021.
Keolis-MHI is a joint venture led by Keolis that includes Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Engineering (MHI) and Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) which have both been heavily involved in the construction and development of Dubai’s metro network since 2005. For this contract, Keolis-MHI has recruited 1,850 employees, mainly from the previous operator, following a smooth seven-month transition period.
On 13 July 2021, the conurbation authority of Montluçon renewed its contract with Keolis for the management and operation of the mobility services on the Maelis city transport network. This new public service delegation contract began on 1 August 2021 and will run for five years, generating cumulative revenues of approximately €19 million. It will include an extension of the area served from 1 September 2021 and an overhaul of the network from 1 January 2022.

On 8 July 2021, the conurbation authority of Agen (CCA), in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in south-western France, renewed its contract with Keolis for the management and operation of the mobility and passenger transport services of the Agen conurbation, Tempo.
This new public service delegation contract will start from 1 October 2021 and run for three years with cumulative revenues of €20 million.
