For the first time in France, public transport, parking services and a bike-sharing scheme have been included in one, comprehensive transport contract. The decision of Dijon’s public transport authority to renew its confidence in Keolis is proof of the Group’s expertise across every aspect of the mobility chain.
More than 30 years after the launch of the world’s first automated metro, Keolis is strengthening its global market leadership by opening a brand new network in Hyderabad, India, that draws on its expertise acquired in Lille, Rennes, Lyon, and London. Come behind the scenes of an exceptional project, on a continent with an ever growing demand for Mass Transit.
Keolis has been present in Tours since 1975. In 2013, the Group redesigned the agglomeration’s public transport offer during the launch of the first tram line in the city. The goal: to better meet citizens’ mobility expectations, thanks to a multimodal network specifically tailored to their needs.
Keolis has held the contract to operate and maintain Melbourne’s tram network, known as Yarra Trams, since 2009 when it became the world leader in tramway operation. In partnership with Downer, the leading provider of integrated services in Australia and New Zealand with over 100 years' rail experience, Keolis took on a major challenge: to modernise the largest and one of the oldest tram networks in the world. Keolis Downer, the Group’s local subsidiary, fulfils the Group’s ongoing commitment to offer the best possible service to its passengers.
Open transport data, digital applications, energy saving, accessibility, or unique new services... The Rennes Metropolitan Area’s development is founded on innovation, and Keolis, operator of the STAR network since 1998, is constantly reinventing public transport.
