22-08-2019Keolis’ Australian subsidiary Keolis Downer has been awarded a new contract by Western Australia Public Transport Authority to operate buses in Geraldton, a city 450km north of Perth (Western Australia) with a population of around 40,000 residents.

At CES 2018 in Las Vegas, Keolis and Navya presented Autonom Cab, the first electric robo-taxi. This driverless vehicle uses a range of navigation and communication technology, and will be operated by Keolis to offer a new urban mobility experience to the passengers of tomorrow.
Keolis, who has been operating the Gold Coast (Australia) tram network since 2014, opened a new 7.3km extension on 17 December 2017. This extension enhances the multimodality of Gold Coast’s transport network, and therefore helps the state of Queensland in their ambitions to accelerate the modal shift, in this dynamic and touristic coastal city.
