Born in 1972, Thomas Barbelet holds a postgraduate degree in political and social communication from Université Paris-I - La Sorbonne, awarded in 1995.
Consultant in financial and institutional communication, he joined Questel in 1996 as Marketing and Communication Manager in London, Paris and then Washington.
In 2000, he joined the PagesJaunes group (renamed Solocal group) as Deputy Communications Director. He held this position until September 2009, when he joined the VINCI Concessions group as Director of Marketing and Communications. Thomas managed the brand and image strategy for the group's concessions from 2009 to 2015.
Thomas joined the Keolis Group in 2015 as Executive Director Brand and Communications where he re-organised the department around the challenges of the brand. After redesigning the Group’s digital tools, launching a new brand platform, and creating and deploying Keolis’ new visual identity, Thomas was appointed Executive Director Marketing, Brand and Communications on 16 April 2018, as part of the restructure of Keolis’ Executive Committee. His main role is to define and promote the service offer of the Group with public transport authorities and passengers. He is also in charge of enhancing the profile of the Keolis brand.
