On 8 July 2021, the conurbation authority of Agen (CCA), in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in south-western France, renewed its contract with Keolis for the management and operation of the mobility and passenger transport services of the Agen conurbation, Tempo.
This new public service delegation contract will start from 1 October 2021 and run for three years with cumulative revenues of €20 million.

On 29 June 2021, the community council and local Public Transport Authority of the conurbation of Châteauroux in central France renewed its contract with Keolis for the operation and maintenance of its entire public transport network, Horizon.Over the course of the contract, Keolis’ goal will be to increase ridership by 18%. Keolis will also support the Châteauroux conurbation in the energy transition of its bus fleet by introducing six hydrogen buses into the network by 2024.

David Scorey, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Keolis Commuter Services, a Keolis Group subsidiary in charge of operating the Boston commuter rail network, has been appointed President and CEO of Keolis North America, effective 8 July 2021.
With 30 years of experience in the public transport sector, David Scorey will continue to develop Keolis' activities in the United States and Canada.

On 20 May 2021, the conurbation authority of Haguenau, in north eastern France, renewed its contract with Keolis for the operation and maintenance of its entire public transport network, RITMO. The new public service delegation contract starts on 1 August 2021 and will run
for seven years, generating cumulative revenues of approximately 31 million euros. Keolis Haguenau will be tasked with extending the transport network, which will serve 36 municipalities by 2022, compared to five at present.

On 25 June 2021, Shanghai Keolis started operating and maintaining Jiaxing’s tram network, the first of its kind in the coastal province of Zhejiang, south-west of Shanghai. Awarded in October 2020, this is the Group’s first contract outside Shanghai.
This launch consolidates Keolis’ position as the world leader in tram operations and maintenance, with 27 networks worldwide, and strengthens its position in China, where the group has been present since 2014.
