Self-service vehicles and car-sharing schemes
CARPOOLING: THE CAR WITHOUT THE CONSTRAINTS OF OWNERSHIP
This solution makes it possible to have a car ready to use – petrol and insurance included – with a parking space always available. Suitable for private individuals who drive less than 12,000 km per year, carpooling can encourage them to forego buying a private car, or otherwise sell the second car in their household. It also provides numerous advantages to companies by helping them to streamline the use of their vehicle fleet, or, by allowing personal use by employees combined with employee ridesharing, to optimise parking spaces.
RIDESHARING: TRAVELLING IN GOOD COMPANY
80% of drivers are alone in their car during their daily journey. In view of this fact, ridesharing (when drivers offer one or more seats to passengers, with whom they share petrol costs and toll charges) provides an economic and environmentally friendly solution to the problem of road traffic in a given region.

KEOLIS INTEGRATES NEW TYPES OF MOBILITY INTO ITS TRANSPORT NETWORKS
Keolis has offered short-distance, dynamic and interactive ridesharing on a number of networks renewed in 2017 (Lille, Dijon, Amiens, Rennes...).
For this, Keolis relies on a solution developed by the start-up Instant System, with which the Group signed a partnership in May. Already deployed in Bordeaux under the name Boogi, this service allows commuters searching for routes on the network app to access, in real-time, offers by drivers who can take them in their car.
