Since 2017, Keolis has implemented a continuous improvement scheme called Keolis Industrialise et Harmonise sa Maintenance (KIHM). This programme aims to optimise the performance of maintenance services by strengthening the standardisation and efficiency of procedures. The Keolis Bordeaux subsidiary has been chosen as the pilot for this initiative.
What is KIHM ?
Keolis supports each of its subsidiaries in industrialising and harmonising its maintenance. The KIHM programme is part of an operational excellence approach.
The intention is to improve the maturity of processes and practices and to develop know-how conducive to a learning organisation in order to meet today's challenges: the demands of our customers, changes in the market and needs, the energy transition and changes in the regulatory framework.
The aim of the programme is to improve and control availability, reliability, safety and quality of life at work.
The label in 2024
This year, three new areas at Keolis Bordeaux have been awarded the KIHM label, rewarding the constant efforts of our teams to meet the highest standards of excellence and efficiency. This recognition testifies to the subsidiary's commitment to adopting a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
The results are significant: more predictable maintenance operations, fewer unscheduled stoppages and optimised costs. These improvements also contribute to greater satisfaction among internal and external stakeholders.
A celebration to match the commitment of the teams
To mark this important milestone, Keolis Bordeaux organised a convivial event for its employees. The celebration was an opportunity to congratulate the teams on their hard work and dedication, reinforcing cohesion and collective motivation.
Through initiatives such as KIHM, Keolis is reaffirming its commitment to operational excellence and innovation in maintenance services. The certification of new perimeters in 2024 illustrates the effectiveness of this approach and paves the way for new opportunities to strengthen performance on a national scale.
