Our Ethics and Compliance policy

Keolis, an exemplary group with integrity

Our transparent and exemplary approach is founded on compliance with regulations and ethical business standards, as well as on the rejection of all forms of corruption. "Zero tolerance" is our guiding principle and an obligation for every employee.

Shared by our 68,000 employees worldwide, this demanding approach aims not only to meet our legal obligations but more importantly, ensures we act responsibly towards our customers, suppliers and stakeholders in each country where we are present.

Our guide: the Kompliance programme

Keolis adopted Its compliance programme in 2013. Known as "Kompliance", this programme uses simple and practical terms to describe the right behaviour as well as what is forbidden, both by law and by the Keolis Group's ethical business standards.  It enables each employee to adopt the right attitude on a daily basis, in order to prevent and manage risks they might be confronted with.

The four pillars of our "Kompliance" programme

  • A dedicated organisation, with an Ethics & Compliance Committee that brings together representatives from all Keolis Group entities and a network of correspondents tasked with encouraging the dissemination of the ethics & compliance culture and the programme's guidelines;

  • Training: an e-learning module on preventing corruption, "governance and business ethics" modules included in the induction programme for new employees;

  • Practical tools and documentation, accessible to all employees: two reference documents, the "Keolis Group Guide for Ethical Business Conduct" and the "Code of Conduct for the Prevention of Corruption and Conflicts of Interest", as well as reference guides dedicated to the three key areas of the programme;

  • A professional whistleblowing system for employees as well as internal and external partners: Keolis Ethic Line.

"Kompliance", a programme focused on three main areas:

  • The strict respect of free and fair competition

  • The prevention of corruption and fraud

  • The protection of personal data

For each field of action, the Kompliance programme specifies the fundamental principles to be respected, prohibited practices and daily check points.
