A GLOBAL LEADER IN MOBILITY BASED IN 15 COUNTRIES
Keolis operates public transport networks on behalf of 300 transport authorities around the world. It is now present in 16 countries across five continents. As well as being the world leader in trams and automated metros, the Group is also the leader in France of medical transport and the leading integrated parking operator in France.
Each year, more than three billion passengers use our shared mobility services.
A PIONEER IN MULTIMODALITY
Because every community and every passenger is unique, Keolis strives to offer tailor-made solutions that are perfectly adapted to their needs. A pioneer in innovative transport solutions and multimodality, the Group launched the world’s first automated metro network in Lille in 1983. In 2016, we inaugurated the world’s first autonomous shuttle service in Lyon and France’s first urban cable car in Brest. In 2017, our shuttles were the first to travel on the road in real traffic conditions in Las Vegas.
To strengthen our core business and develop new solutions for shared mobility, we rely on a strategy of intensive, open innovation. For this, we nurture a strong relationship with the ecosystem of digital players and new mobility solutions. This often takes the form of partnerships with start-ups or technology and industry groups.
MORE HUMAN MOBILITY BRINGING COMMUNITIES TO LIFE
Keolis is the partner of public policymakers who want to make shared mobility an asset for the attractiveness of their community. In a spirit of collaboration, we support them in the design and optimisation of their multimodal networks to best meet citizens’ needs and offer an attractive alternative to private cars.
To make sure that each journey is even more enjoyable, we place passengers and their wellbeing at the heart of what we do. And we defend the vision of shared, connected, autonomous, ecological mobility – the only form of mobility capable of meeting the biggest economic, social and environmental challenges of cities today and tomorrow.
The Keolis Group is 70% owned by SNCF and 30% by the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ).
