Keolis reinforces its parking activity with the acquisition of Mypark in Belgium by its subsidiary EFFIA
27th November 2019
Keolis, a global mobility integrator, consolidates its ambitions in parking, a lever for developing the mobility chain, with the acquisition of Mypark, a historic actor in parking in Belgium. With this operation, EFFIA reaches a major milestone in its international development strategy, becoming the 4th largest operator on the parking market in Belgium with more than 32,000 parking spaces managed. Julien Verdin is appointed Managing Director of Mypark.

Keolis’ subsidiary EFFIA offers on-street parking management solutions for all types of structures including underground, multi-level and enclosed parking lots and Park and Ride facilities. EFFIA accompanies local authorities, public infrastructure managers and private developers in their parking-related projects with the aim of integrating parking as a key element within a comprehensive mobility offer..

In addition to parking, EFFIA also implements alternative solutions to traditional car use (in particular carpooling, carsharing, bike racks and public transport connections).

Present in 190 cities in France and Belgium, EFFIA, which has 1,100 employees, manages 500 car parks and more than 250,000 parking spaces, four times more than when it was taken over by Keolis in 2010.
