Parking is an integral part of the mobility chain. With its subsidiary EFFIA, established in France and Belgium, Keolis offers users and public transport authorities on and off-street parking solutions. Through the car parks it operates, the Group encourages multimodality, contributes to the vitality of communities and supports more sustainable mobility.

A diversified parking solution range to boost mobility

With 40 years of experience and its subsidiary EFFIA, Keolis is the number 2 parking operator in France and number 4 in Belgium.

A wide range of parking solutions

Keolis offers an array of on and off-street parking solutions to meet the needs of each community: city centre car parks, station car parks, park-and-rides, car parks at hospitals or surgeries, sporting or cultural venues, shopping centres, airports, etc. Built into the local economic fabric and connected with the existing public transport network, the car parks operated by Keolis support the vitality of towns, cities and communities, and shared mobility.

Promoting multimodality

With park-and-ride facilities and the creation of car parks near public transport stops and railway stations, Keolis encourages shared mobility and soft, sustainable transport solutions. In this respect, Keolis works to incorporate additional mobility services into its infrastructure: services such as car rental, car sharing, carpooling or bikeshares.

High quality services for a smooth customer experience

Delivering a smooth customer journey with innovative digital solutions

Keolis integrates car parks into its digital solutions to facilitate the customer journey. Smartphone apps and MaaS solutions offer customers a chance to plan their journey and book online. As part of its collaborative innovation approach with Keolis, EFFIA was a pioneer in online car park booking with its service Résaplace, in 2007. Since this date, sales through this channel have enjoyed around 15% growth per year.

Combining services to make things easier every day

Since customer satisfaction lies at the heart of its concerns, Keolis offers them a wide range of value-added services: Online parking space bookings, monthly or yearly plans, car hire, electric vehicle charging points, car washes, two wheeler parking tips and advice, secure bike shelters, assistance for people with reduced mobility.

Upgrading infrastructure

To help car park users find a space more quickly, Keolis is installing electronic guidance systems in its car parks, indicating free spaces in real time. The Group is also developing parking solutions to promote mobility and autonomy for all, in particular accessibility for people with reduced mobility (PRM).

Parking, support for more sustainable mobility

Connecting parking and sustainable mobility

Keolis invests in advanced technology to offer efficient and connected parking solutions. This includes, for example, the development of autonomous shuttles. By transporting users from outlying car parks to their final destinations, they simplify parking, relieve congestion in city centres, reduce pollution and encourage more environmentally friendly mobility.

Supporting electric mobility

Keolis encourages electric mobility by continually increasing the number of parking spaces for electric vehicles. As the leading parking operator for electric mobility, the Group offers its clients more than 1,300 electric charging points in its car parks.
