Global Rail is an international event held in Abu Dhabi (UAE) that brings together key players from the rail transport sector. It gathers industry leaders around conferences, roundtables and presentations dedicated to innovation, technological advances, the sustainable transition and the sharing of experience.
At the 2025 edition of Global Rail, Keolis announced a partnership with Etihad Rail to launch the first-ever passenger rail service in the United Arab Emirates. The project involves the introduction of a rail link between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, supported by a network of more than 900 km of lines crossing 11 cities and several regions across the country.
The latest edition took place in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) from 30 September to 2 October 2025. The dates for the next edition have not yet been announced.
