From 17 to 19 October 2023, the Rencontres nationales du transport public (RNTP) brought together everyone involved in public transport and sustainable mobility. They met in Clermont-Ferrand for a trade fair that drew almost 200 French and international exhibitors and nearly 8,000 participants from the mobility sector.
As at every event, Keolis Group was present to exchange views with its partners and promote the work of its experts.
Visitors to the 100 sqm Keolis stand were able to discover a wide range of demonstrations of our expertise in rail transport, new forms of mobility, accessibility, energy transition, innovation and more.
We were also honoured to welcome Clément Beaune, the French Transport Minister, to our stand. This provided the Group with an opportunity for the Group to tell him about our innovative flow management (IMPULSE) and accessibility solutions.
In addition, several members of the Group’s senior management spoke during panel discussions at the GART-UTP Congress alongside public officials and technical specialists. Our speakers included Marie-Ange Debon, Clément Michel, Annelise Avril and Antonia Höög.
The RNTP furthermore gave us an opportunity to announce the launch of a trial involving a fleet of 14 hydrogen‑powered vehicles on a major line of the T2C public transport network in Clermont‑Ferrand. Keolis Group will operate and maintain the 14 new and retrofitted hydrogen-powered vehicles for a period of 10 years, starting in September 2024 (see also “Our Planet” below).
