On April 3, 2025, Keolis took part in the major Accessibility Day event, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the February 11, 2005, law, which marked a turning point for the inclusion of people with disabilities. The event, held at the Accor Group headquarters, provided Keolis with the opportunity to reaffirm its commitment to inclusive mobility, serving everyone.
Inclusion at the heart of priorities
At this event on accessibility, tourism, and inclusive mobility, several experts shared their initiatives to make mobility accessible to all. Jean-Christophe Combe, Director of Marketing, Innovation, Sustainable Development, and Engagement, highlighted the key challenges and priorities of the Group regarding inclusive mobility and accessibility during a panel interview.

Marie Gonzato Yahiel, Group Accessibility Manager, emphasized the importance of smoothing travel, particularly for visitors with disabilities. Her intervention highlighted the progress made in integrating inclusive solutions into public transportation.

Thibaud Deletraz, Director of Marketing, Innovation, and Tendering at Keolis Île-de-France, took part in the roundtable discussion on managing large events. He shared his experience from the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games and highlighted the importance of accessibility in large-scale international events.

At the end of the various conferences, the Ministerial Delegation for Accessibility presented its awards, recognizing the best initiatives in accessible mobility. Keolis Bordeaux Métropole Mobilités, represented by Muriel Ahano, Customer and Accessibility Manager, was a finalist in the "Mobility / Policy and Governance" category for its 360° accessibility and inclusion approach and the Cap’Handéo Mobility Services certification. TBM is the first and only urban transport network in France certified for all modes and all types of disabilities.
The group presented two high-quality submissions in this category. In addition to the Bordeaux initiative, Keolis also showcased its Group Unik accessibility approach, deployed nationally and across its subsidiaries.
In the "Digital Solutions" category, Besançon Métropole won the award for its Ginko Guide app, an innovative navigation tool that helps people with disabilities easily find their platform, vehicle, and even their seat. This award was presented to Marie Zehaf, Vice-President in charge of Transport, Mobility, and Parking for the Grand Besançon Métropole.

This event highlighted the concrete actions being taken in various regions and through partnerships to promote inclusive mobility. The commitment of both public and private stakeholders to accessibility remains essential in ensuring a better quality of life and freedom of movement for every individual, regardless of their needs.
